Women’s equal participation and leadership in decisions that affect them and their communities is a prerequisite for building resilient societies.

Isis Alvarez (GFC, Colombia) delivered her combined statement on behalf of the Women’s Major Group, during the 8th meeting: Thematic review – Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies: Perspectives of LDCs, LLDCs and MICs at the High-level Political Forum 2018, held in New York, at the UNHQ on 11th July.
