Several members of the Women’s Major Group were selected to speak during the High-level event of the General Assembly on “The role of partnerships in the implementation of the Post-2015 Development Agenda.” The members brought their own areas of expertise to the debate, as well as strong critiques of the prominence of public-private partnerships and an emphasis on the role of civil society in ensuring implementation of a transformative sustainable development agenda.
