The threats to gender equality continue to be real for women and girls and national plans, if developed without women, can be the biggest threats.

Sunita Kotnala-Sathi (All for Partnership, India, Habitat International Coalition) delivered a combined statement on behalf of the Women’s Major Group, at the 5th Meeting of the High-level Political Forum, during the 8th session on Creating ownership at the national levelheld in New York,  on 13 July 2016.
